V této souvislosti F. Dastur poznamenává, že „in reality Husserl is preoccupied with the transcendental conditions of the constitution of objectivity, rather than with the revelation of Leiblichkeit as a preobjective stratum“ (F. Dastur, Husserl and the Problem of Dualism, in: Analecta Husserliana, XVI, 1983, str. 69), a právě proto „the riddle of ,living‘ in the form of this body … remains unresolved“ (tamt., str. 72).
